I absolutely enjoy trying new smoothie recipes, as well as making up my own. This particular one is new, and so far my absolute favorite! And… I ‘developed’ this one myself 😉

Berry Spinach Smoothie

I have been educating myself recently on clean-eating, sugar-free eating, organic eating, and more. My goal is to only eat REAL food. I do not eat boxed food, and very little processed foods. I am learning exactly how to eat in order to get all of the vitamins, minerals, protein, healthy fat, and more that my body needs to be at its most healthiest. This berry spinach smoothie incorporates all of this.

Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.
  2. Blend for 1 minute; or until smooth.
  3. Pour into cup of choice, and enjoy!
Recipe Notes

If you want the ultimate health benefits of this berry spinach smoothie, then you need to make your own almond milk. Almond milk purchased in stores is highly processed and doesn't even contain that many almonds. There are too many added ingredients which actually makes it unhealthy. I know it 'sounds' healthy, but read your labels!

To get the best out of coconut oil, you need to make sure it is organic. Virgin, or extra-virgin should be fine as long as it's at least organic.
